Attorney Requests and Legal Complaints for Inheritance Matters

During the inheritance administration process, it is often necessary to locate or restore important information and legal documents. The availability of proper documentation is one of the key requirements for successfully obtaining inheritance rights. Missing documents or incomplete information frequently become the reason why a notary refuses to issue a Certificate of Inheritance.

To help heirs avoid these difficulties, we offer a dedicated legal service for preparing and submitting legal requests, complaints, and official correspondence. This service can be ordered at any stage of the inheritance administration process, court proceedings, or document preparation. Our lawyers will prepare high-quality legal documents tailored to your specific situation.

The lawyers of the Inheritance Center provide comprehensive legal support. This means that we not only prepare legal requests, complaints, and letters, but also submit them on your behalf and monitor their delivery and processing. You do not need to visit the post office, send correspondence yourself, or verify whether the recipient has received your documents—our legal team takes care of the entire process for you.

Our most frequently requested services include:

1. Attorney Request

An attorney request is an official request submitted by a licensed attorney to government authorities, public institutions, organizations, or other entities for the purpose of obtaining information necessary to provide legal assistance. One of its main advantages is the shortened response period. Under Ukrainian law, a response must generally be provided within five business days. If a large amount of information must be reviewed before responding, the deadline may be extended to twenty days, whereas ordinary public requests may be processed for up to thirty days.

We provide full legal support throughout this process. Our lawyers carefully analyze your circumstances, prepare a properly drafted attorney request, and monitor the receipt of the response. If the request is denied or only partially answered, we respond promptly and, where necessary, submit a repeated attorney request. Practical difficulties in obtaining information sometimes occur, and any additional requests required for the same matter are prepared without additional legal fees.

2. Preparation of Legal Complaints

It is common for government authorities, notaries, or other institutions to refuse to provide documents or fail to give an adequate response. In such situations, we recommend challenging these actions rather than waiting. A professionally prepared legal complaint requires the recipient to provide a reasoned written response and is often the most effective way to resolve misunderstandings or legal disputes. Written responses frequently differ significantly from informal verbal explanations and may become the key to resolving the issue.

Our lawyers will prepare the complaint in your interests, submit it to the appropriate authority, and manage the entire process until the matter is resolved.

The lawyers at the Inheritance Center value your time and therefore offer flexible communication options. Consultations may take place at our office, at your location, online using video conferencing platforms, or through convenient messaging applications.
